** I should clarify that I was later subjected to a talk from my parents about how "certain words should only be used in very extreme situations, and you can't use words like that all the time or they lose their power." Also, I think there was something about how it offends other people or some shit like that. ;) **
The later talk appears to have had absolutely no effect on you and your choice of vocabulary.
