things that are terrible, vol. 26: groupon

Despite receiving their daily emails for about a year and a half now, i have only ever purchased one groupon in my life (for a baltimore sun subscription, if you were curious). so basically, the only thing groupon has really done for me is clog my email inbox on a daily basis. i'm not really sure why i haven't unsubscribed - i guess it's this inexplicably persistent hope that some day a groupon will arrive in my inbox that would actually be useful.
