I absolutely adore seth meyers. not only is he awesome on SNL's weekend update, but he's also head writer of SNL and reportedly a huge red sox fan. clearly, we would be a perfect match. ...well, at least he would be a perfect match for me. i'm not exactly sure what i could offer him, since i sort of have doubts about the allure of a 3rd year phd student who is broke and wears pajamas most days, but whatever.
anyway, in case you aren't aware, he hosted the white house correspondent's dinner last night. i have heard that, in prior years, it was possible to sneak in, as long as you were dressed in a gown or tux (i actually have a friend who snuck in a few years ago, following those simple guidelines). of course, just in time for seth meyers to host, new rules and restrictions on entry were instituted. sad.
oh well. at least there is video footage from the event. it's long (20 min), but funny. enjoy:
