In today's edition of small town police reports, a new low for the Amherst College police:
• 6:32 p.m. — A large piece of meat was found hanging from a tree on Amherst College property off Stanley Street and near the Norwottuck Rail Trail. Amherst College police are investigating the purpose of placing the meat there, possibly as a way to draw out wildlife, as a camera was also set up nearby.
Pretty sure we knew people in high school that would have done that. Come to think of it, it was probably part of an art project or some research project for an ARHS student.
ReplyDeleteha - you're right. totally an amherst high art project. i can definitely see it being a misguided attempt at social commentary by a teenage vegan. oh amherst.
