the coldest winter i ever spent was a summer in san francisco...


Today i am leaving the foggy bay area and all the beautiful produce, delicious coffee, amazing hiking trails, designated bike routes, extensive beer selection, berkeley hippies, mission district hipsters and perfect 70 degree weather...

and heading back to hot/humid baltimore, where kevlar vests are standard street wear, you can buy white tees from bubbles, get a margarita in a hubcap, where everything is covered in old bay, and a "designated bike route" is pretty much any street where you're less likely to get hit by a stray bullet.

at least i'll never have to look up and see a ceiling like this ever again:

(ha - and you probably thought i was exaggerating about the House of Filth and Squalor!)



goodbye west coast. it's time for this east coast girl to go home.
