After barfing for 12 hours straight on tuesday - thank you, food poisoning - i (foolishly) still attempted to teach my undergrad class last night. as i stood there nauseated, waxy, pale and shaking, trying my best to do my job and be entertaining and engaging, i thought to myself, "this must be how charlie sheen felt every time he taped an episode of Two and a Half Men" ...well, except for the entertaining and engaging part. and the trying to do my job part too, come to think of it. but the nausea, lightheadedness, shakes and my waxy pale demeanor were probably spot on.
just saying.

*ps at this juncture, i would like to offer my sincere apologies for my own contribution to the overexposure of charlie sheen's celebrity implosion. but given that 5 people at most read this blog, it didn't seem like too much harm would be done.
